Newest member of the Harlow Gallery.

Well, I have done it now. I took a leap and joined the Kennebec Art Association through Harlow Gallery in Hallowell. With this membership, I will be allowed to do artwork with others on Tuesdays mornings and get some critiquing also. We just had a special event. Harlow Gallery wanted 80 8x10's and I was able to submit 12 of my paintings. Six of them were posted up. I was quite pleased with that. They were for sale by Harlow Gallery at $80 each, me getting half and Harlow Gallery getting half. Haven't heard yet whether I was that lucky or not.

These Sunflowers are another example of paper-piecing. Click on it and you can see the detail of the papers I used from a quilting catalog. I made this one for my neice, Laura Duburueil (sp?) It's great fun!
